Mucho Macho Man Prepares for 2012 Debut

Horse with Suwanee owners is expected to run in Saturday at Gulfstream Park.

Mucho Macho Man, one of only three thoroughbreds to run in all three Triple Crown races in 2011, will make his debut as a 4-year-old Saturday in Florida.

The horse with Suwanee-based owners is part of a select field that will participate in the $400,000 Florida Sunshine Millions Classic at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale,Β  Fla.

Mucho Macho Man could have his hands full in the nine-furlong Classic, according to a report in the Daily Racing Form. Also expected is Adios Charlie, a winner earlier in the meet at Hallandale; speedy multiple stakes winner Turbo Compressor; and the multiple graded stakes winner Duke of Mischief.

, who also own other thoroughbreds through Reeves Thoroughbred Racing. Reeves also is associated with Reeves Contracting of Sugar Hill.

3M finished third in the Kentucky Derby, sixth in the Preakness and seventh in the Belmont Stakes in 2011. In his last race, he won a one-mile allowance race at Aqueduct Park in November.
