North Gwinnett Advances in AAAAAA Ranking

With one week remaining in the 2012 regular season, the North Gwinnett Bulldogs are again among the state's elite high school teams.

The Bulldogs are No. 5 in the latest statewide AAAAAA ranking by Georgia High School Football Daily.

North has been in the top 10 all season. Its only setback was in September to Norcross, the Region 7-AAAAAA champion.

Though the Bulldogs had their three-year region title run broken, they still appear headed for the playoffs with a 6-1 region record.

Also, North travels to Suwanee rival Peachtree Ridge on Friday in the regular-season finale.
