North Gwinnett Blasts Mountain View

Bulldogs remain unbeaten in Region 7-AAAAA with easy 35-7 win over the Bears.

QB Scott Hosch passed for 317 yards and three touchdowns Friday in an easy 35-7 Region 7-AAAAA win over Mountain View.

Hosch completed 25 of 32 passes as the Bulldogs (6-1, 4-0 Region 7-AAAAA) remained in a first-place tie with Peachtree Ridge at the top of the region standings. Peachtree Ridge beat Norcross 41-14, also Friday.

It was North's sixth straight victory.

Receiver Chad Scott had eight receptions for 102 yards and a TD and running back Joe Jones rushed for 123 yards and a TD on 18 carries as the Bulldogs soundly defeated the Bears.

North did most of its damage in the first half, running out to a 21-0 lead behind the passing of Hosch (214 yards, two TDs in the first half) and the rushing of Jones (90 yards, one TD). Scott had six catches for 91 yards in the half.

North Gwinnett hosts Mill Creek next week.
