North Gwinnett Moves Up in AAAAAA Rankings

The Bulldogs of Suwanee face a Gwinnett rival Friday.

After its resounding victory Saturday in the 2013 season opener, North Gwinnett has advanced in the statewide football rankings.

The Bulldogs now are No. 3 in Class AAAAAA, according to the latest ranking by Georgia High School Football Daily. North won easily, 34-14 over Camden County in the Corky Kell Classic.

Also, formerly top-ranked Norcross took a tumble, losing 55-0 to Booker T. Washington. The Blue Devils dropped to No. 6 in the rankings, and Colquitt County took over as the new No. 1

On Friday, the Bulldogs travel to Grayson, the 2011 state champion.
