North Gwinnett Wins, Peachtree Ridge Falls

A recap of Friday's Suwanee high school football action.

North Gwinnett gained its first Region 7-AAAAAA victory Friday (Sept. 21), while Peachtree Ridge lost at home.

NORTH GWINNETT 45, MEADOWCREEK 20: The Bulldogs (3-1, 1-1) rebounded from last week's loss to Norcross by scoring 36 points in the second quarter. QB Michael Haynes passed for 186 yards and three TDs, and RB Nick Andryusky rushed for 45 yards.

MILL CREEK 20 PEACHTREE RIDGE 10: The Lions (1-3, 1-1) could not hold a 10-0 halftime lead. Mill Creek QB Daniel David threw for two second half touchdowns. For Ridge, QB Bryson Sellers was 19-of-33 passing for 182 yards.
