North Gwinnett-McEachern To Be on TV, Online

The Bulldogs of Suwanee have a chance to reach the state title game.

If you can't make the drive to Powder Springs on Friday for North Gwinnett's playoff game, rest easy.

And if you can, you might be able to get a better view on your mobile device.

The Bulldogs will be taking on McEachern in the Class 6A semifinals, and a trip to the state title game. The action will be the featured game on Georgia Public Broadcasting, and streamed live on gpb.org.

For North, it's the first trip to the semifinals since 2007, after several playoff visits.

The Bulldogs need for quarterback Hayden Sphire to stay healthy. He's 42 of 75 passing for 565 yards and four touchdowns in three playoff games, or since his return from a leg injury that sidelined him for 2 1/2 games, according to ghsfdaily.com.

For McEachern, quarterback Ty Clemons also has had injury problems. He played briefly in the quarterfinals, but might be close to 100 percent Friday. He has rushed for 1,171 yards, according to ghsfdaily.com.

Norcross, the defending state champion, hosts Colquitt County on Friday in the other 6A semifinal.
