Peachtree Ridge Game Televised Friday

Anyone who can't make it to the Peachtree Ridge game in Suwanee on Friday -- or who wants to build a game-tape library -- can tune in to the game on Georgia Public Broadcasting.

The Lions' home opener vs. Newnan will be the Game of the Week.

And Coach Mark Fleetwood's team will be seeking to go over the .500 mark, after last week's 31-2 romp over Roswell. In that game, Ahmad Harris returned a punt for a TD, and RB Diandre Atwater also scored.

Speaking of home games, Collins Hill will have to wait another week before it has a game in Suwanee. The Eagles are seeking to rebound from a loss at Brookwood when they travel to DeKalb County for a game vs. M.L. King, ranked No. 9 in AAAAA.

North Gwinnett (2-1), ranked No. 7 statewide, has an open week before the intra-city clash with Collins Hill on Sept. 16.
