Peachtree Ridge Moves Up in Football Rankings
Also, another Gwinnett team moves into the Top 10.
Suwanee teams continue to look good in statewide Class 6A football rankings.
Unbeaten Peachtree Ridge has advanced to No. 5 in the latest rankings by Georgia High School Football Daily and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The Lions knocked off previously unbeaten Mill Creek, 31-30, last Friday.
North Gwinnett continues as the top-ranked team. The Bulldogs overwhelmed Meadowcreek, 63-0, last Friday.
And Archer (4-0) is ranked for the first time ever, coming in at No. 9 after beating Parkview last week.
This Friday, North Gwinnett is idle, Peachtree Ridge hosts Habersham Central, and unbeaten Collins Hill is at Mountain View.
