Peachtree Ridge Playoff Bound

Taking a look at Suwanee high school baseball.

Peachtree Ridge beat Norcross 6-4 on Friday night to head to the playoffs for the first time in school history.

Senior Brett Polachek was the hometown hero for the Suwanee school after providing two hits and five runs. Polachek hit a three-run homer in the fifth inning that put the Lions on top. Norcross went on to tie the game 4-4 but Polachek came back with a two-run single which gave Peachtree Ridge a 6-4 win.

Here is a look at the game through photographs.
