McEachern scores with 10 seconds remaining Saturday to stun the Bulldogs.

This year's Corky Kell Classic had some great match-ups, and the North Gwinnett/McEachern game proved to be nail-biter.

North Gwinnett of Suwanee led for most of the game Saturday in the Georgia Dome with the slimmest of margins. Late in the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs kicked a field goal to increase their lead to four, 17-13.

But McEachern of Powder Springs put together a drive of its own with two minutes remaining in the game. A pass play to Tray Fletcher put the ball inside the 10. Chris Nwhagbara then inched the ball across the goal line with 10 seconds left on the clock to win the game for McEachern. A late score made the final tally 26-17.
