North Gwinnett Boys, Girls Are Ready for 7-AAAAA Tourney

Both teams from Suwanee are ranked statewide; tournament action begins Tuesday at Peachtree Ridge High.

Last year, the Norcross boys and girls brought state titles back to Region 7-AAAAA. Looks like North Gwinnett has a chance to do the same this season.

The Bulldogs boys and girls are both seeded No. 1 and ranked in the state Top 10 as the region tournament opens Tuesday at P in Suwanee.

The North girls, ranked No. 3 by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, are led by Lexie Brown (daughter of former NBA player Dee Brown) and Peyton Whitted. The North boys are ranked No. 6 by the AJC.
