Soft Opening a Success at Twisted Taco

The franchise has opened its newest location in Suwanee.

A paper sign on the door makes it offical: Twisted Taco restaurant has finally opened its doors in Suwanee. Located right next to Taco Mac, the franchised Tex-Mex restaurant has been eagerly awaited.

Upon first walking in, the restaurant is anything but your typical Mexican restaurant. Set in an Old Wild West type decor, wanted posters adorn the walls and a deer is mounted right above the hostess stand. Explore a little more, and  you will find some booths tucked right into an old-time prison cell, with bars and all.

Dinner, as in many Tex-Mex restaurants, begins with a bowl of handmade chips and salsa. Chips are thin and crispy with just a hint of salt. If chips don't satisfy, they also carry several different appetizers. Our choice for the evening were the Classic Nachos. Cheese, seasoned ground beef, and salsa are spread over a bed of handmade tortilla chips. Be mindful of how much you are eating as a bowl of nachos can certainly fill you up.

Taco options like Boom Boom Shrimp and The Wild Alaskan are just some of the choices that set the Twisted Taco apart from those other places. Homemade guacamole and salsa top off any menu option.

Don't forget to get your food "Twisted." "Twisted" means that your taco will be topped with hot, melted queso and homemade salsa.

The Twisted Taco is currently open at night for dinner during their soft open phase.
