Now we know. The New England Patriots and the New York Giants will meet on Sunday, Feb. 5, (6:30 p.m., NBC) in the Super Bowl for the NFL title.

In Sunday's games, the Patriots survived a Baltimore Ravens challenge to win, and the Giants needed key mistakes by the San Francisco 49ers to win in overtime.Β

It will be a rematch. The Giants defeated the Patriots in Super Bowl 42 to ruin New England's bid for a perfect season.

The Patriots will be in their fifth Super Bowl since the 2001 season. The Giants and QB Eli Manning, however, will be in the big game for the second time in four seasons.
