Suwanee High School Teams Kick Off 2013 Season on TV

Two Suwanee high school football teams begin the 2013 season in grand style Saturday (Aug. 24), in the Corky Kell Classic in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

North Gwinnett, ranked No. 4 in 6A by Georgia High School Football Daily, takes on Camden County at 5:30 p.m. Peachtree Ridge takes on Walton at 11:45 a.m.

Also involved from Gwinnett is Brookwood and Grayson. The complete Kell schedule is here.

The Bulldogs of Coach Bob Sphire had their Region 7 title taken away in 2012, by eventual state champ Norcross. The Lions of Coach Mark Fleetwood will be looking to get back to the region title level.

The entire Kell schedule Saturday will be televised on Georgia Public Broadcasting, and streamed live on gpb.org.
