UGA's New Uniforms: What Do You Think?

Bulldogs will have striking new apparel for season opener Saturday.

It's not exactly like breaking out black jerseys or silver britches.

The Georgia Bulldogs will wear markedly different uniforms for Saturday's season opener vs. Boise State in the Georgia Dome.

The Nike Pro Combat uniforms are quite a bit different than anything Bulldogs fans are used to.

For spirit reasons, Georgia has resorted to one-game departures before, such as the "Blackout" vs. Auburn in 2007, or wearing silver pants.

However, the Nike outfit looks like something out of The Matrix. This is the same style that Oregon debuted in the 2010 BCS title game vs. Auburn.

What would Dean Tate think?

If nothing else, the new design could get many fans talking about something other than Georgia's recent on-field woes; the Bulldogs are coming off a 6-7 season and have not played for the SEC title since 2005. Thus, a new look can only help.

But we want to know: Do you like the new UGA uniforms?

Now, we know that UGA has many fans in and around Suwanee -- and many rivals. All you fans of Georgia Tech and other SEC and ACC schools might not like anything the Bulldogs wear.
