Maya Moore, U.S. Women's Basketball Has Olympics Opener July 28

Game time vs. Croatia is 11:45 a.m. on NBC for the former Gwinnett star.

The 2012 Olympics are under way, and Suwanee and Gwinnett high school basketball fans get a treat right away. The U.S. women's basketball team, featuring former , will makes its 2012 debut Saturday, July 28.

The American's will be taking on Croatia at 11:45 a.m. The game will be televised on NBC.

The U.S. team will be seeking its fifth consecutive gold medal. Since the 2000 games in Sydney, the women's "dream team" has been made up entirely of players from the WNBA, which suspends its season during Olympics competition to allow players to participate.
