Atlanta Falcons to Hold Tailgating Event at Mall of Georgia
Saturday, you can join Head Coach Mike Smith, players, cheerleaders, and Freddie the Falcon in the parking lot between Belk and Nordstrom. A live concert and Movies Under the Stars follows.
Football season is not far off, and so the Atlanta Falcons will host Grill With The Falcons Built By The Home Depot at the Mall of Georgia in Buford on Saturday, June 15 (11 a.m.-3:30 p.m.).
According to a news release, Head Coach Mike Smith, players, alumni, cheerleaders and Freddie the Falcon will mingle with fans. The Falcons event will be followed by a live concert and the Movies Under the Stars showing.
Smith and Falcons players will have tailgates of their own alongside attendees in the parking lot between Belk and Nordstrom. The top 20 tailgater finalists will compete for the title of Falcons Grill Master with their best game day recipes, tailgate set-up and overall spirit. The Falcons coach and players will vie for the winning title in the celebrity division of the Tailgate Cook-Off.

There will also be entertainment, food trucks, a carnival-style midway with games, and prize drawings.
A portion of proceeds for the event will benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Festivities continue, as Line 6 will perform in concert in the Village Pavilion beginning at 6:30 p.m.. Then, an outdoor movie event will be held, with “Parental Guidance” will play on the screen at sunset. Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome.
Movies Under The Stars continues each Saturday through July 28 (excluding July 6).
