Check Summer Activities for Students as Gwinnett Schools Have Last Day
The last day of school for Gwinnett County students is May 22. See what fun activities you can get your child involved with over the summer.
The last day of school in 2013 is upon us.
May 22 is the last day of school for Gwinnett County Public Schools students. The following days, May 23 and May 24, are the last teacher planning days for the school year.
Teachers return for the 2013-2014 school year on July 31, and students return August 7.

Here are a few things to get your children through the summer months:
- Register now online for summer reading programs at the local library. Turn in completed application by August 17.
- Participate in Vacation Bible School at your local church.
- Attend summer camp and other activities at Gwinnett County parks. Click here to sign up or learn more about what is available.

- Have fun with scouting. Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta's overnight and day camp registration is open. As well, parents may also check with the the Atlanta-area council of Boy Scouts of America.
