Food Debris Build-Up, Labeling Violations Noted at Suwanee Restaurant

Brooklyn Pie recently underwent a routine health inspection by the Gwinnett Health Department.

The restaurant at 315 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Suite 106 received an "85/B" score on Dec. 9. Among the violations noted:

 Fryer baskets had a build-up of food debris. Can opener blade had a build-up of food debris. Items properly cleaned and sanitized. Make certain all food-contact surfaces are kept clean to sight and touch.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.

Salt and sugar bulk containers not labeled with the common name of the food. Containers labeled. Keep all food containers labeled with the common name of the food, especially foods which are difficult to identify by sight.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.
