We first took our TV in for a repair as directed by Samsung. It should have been a simple part replacement. However, it took a month. I could have replaced the power supply in probably 15 minutes, but it took a month to fix it. On top of that,I received no contact from them during that month. I tried contacting them to get updates, but most of the time, they didn't somehow didn't know the status. Once it was finally fixed after a month, I took it home. It broke again after about a month. On their invoices they state that they have a 90 day warranty on all labor and parts. Well, they wouldn't honor that here. They said they would offer to waive the labor but charge for the part (~$70). That was unacceptable. I contacted samsung and they would not cover it either. I contact the BBB for both samsung and tanstel. After that, smasung finally offered to pay for the part, but now tanstel rescinded their offer to waive the labor, and would now charge $85 for the labor. Somehow, it's not more expensive now that I got samsung to pay for the part, even though their invoice offers a 90 day warranty on all parts and labor (yeah, right). They are polite, but they are not a well run business. They do not honor their warranty, and I would never take my business here again.
