How Much Snow Fell in Suwanee on Jan. 28?
The 2014 snowstorm is gone, but the effects remain.
Now, the tale of the tape, so to speak.
News reports have been saying that about 2.5 inches of snow fell at the Atlanta airport on Tuesday (Jan. 28).
But how much fell in Suwanee and Gwinnett?
One way to tell is in the attached photo. The ruler was placed in snow in an area near McGinnis Ferry Road in Suwanee on the morning of Jan. 29. This shows about 2 inches in a relatively undisturbed snow area.
