Here are key events coming this week in Suwanee and Gwinnett:
- JARED COOK CLASSIC: The high school basketball tournament continues at North Gwinnett High.
- HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS: North Gwinnett and Collins Hill will be in action.
- THE NUTCRACKER: The fabled musical event will be at the Gwinnett Arena in the Duluth area on Friday and Saturday (Nov. 29-30).
- HOLIDAY TREE LIGHTING: The City of Duluth will hold its event on Saturday, Nov. 30.
- BLACK FRIDAY: The annual shopping frenzy technically begins Thursday evening, when some retailers in the area will open.
