  • Oct. 10, 13: Former Gwinnett hoops star Maya Moore and the Minnesota Linx play against the Atlanta Dream in games 3 and 4 of the WNBA finals at the Gwinnett Arena. (Thursday, 8:30 p.m., Sunday 8 p.m., $13-$103 770-813-7500)

They Got 'Voice'

  • Oct. 12: Nashville's Swon Brothers, finalists on "The Voice" TV show performs at Wild Bill's near Duluth. (9:30 p.m., $20-$60, 678-473-1000)

  • Oct. 12: The Gwinnett Historic Courthouse hosts the Old Fashioned Picnic and Bluegrass Festival, with music, food, crafts and pets, too. (12 p.m.-3 p.m., free, 770-822-5450)

Lilburn Daze

  • Oct. 12: Lilburn's annual fall festival features arts & crafts, live music and food. (9 a.m.-5 p.m., free to attend, 770-921-3242)

 Italian Car Day

  • Oct. 12: See exotic cars on display at Lillian Webb Park in Norcross. (free, 770-932-2380)

'A Raisin in the Sun'

  • Oct. 11-13: New London Theatre in Snellville features the classic play the next two weekends (Oct. 11-13, 18-20) with showings on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. (Friday/Saturday 8 p.m.; Sunday 2:30 p.m., $10-$15, 770-559-1484) 

Oktoberfest!

  • Oct. 12-13: Stone Mountain Village hosts its annual Oktoberfest Beer & Arts Festival with authentic German music, food and brew. (12 p.m.-6 p.m., beer & dinner till 8 p.m., 770-498-7334)

Taste of Suwanee

  • Oct. 12: Check out more than 30 restaurants and vendors at Town Center Park in Suwanee. Begin the day with a 5K road race. Free admission, meal and ride tickets are 50 cents each. (5K race 11 a.m., event 12 p.m.-5 p.m.)
