DragonCon Co-Founder Facing Extradition to Gwinnett

Edward Kramer, arrested in Connecticut, faces molestation charges from 2000. He still owns a percentage of the successful Atlanta convention.

The co-founder and part owner of the popular DragonCon science fiction convention in Atlanta is facing extradition to Gwinnett on molestation charges dating to 2000, according to media reports. Edward Kramer, 51, was arrested in Milford, Conn., on Wednesday (December 5) while staying in a motel room with a 14-year-old boy, according to 11alive.com. Police there acted on a tip from Gwinnett District Attorney Danny Porter. A Gwinnett Superior Court judge Wednesday signed an order revoking his bond from the 2000 case; extradition could take several weeks.
