March 30: Escape By Gardening

Nature can take your mind off the world.

Gardening can provide the escape you need. Even if you’re convinced that you don’t have a green thumb, some plants are so easy to take care of. Succulents, Coleus, Peace lilies, Bottle palms, Begonia, African Violets, Pothos,  Money plants and oodles of others are simple to manage while beautiful at the same time. If you’d prefer indoor planting, low maintenance options make it even more manageable.   Don’t deny yourself this pleasure on account of not having any outdoor space or little know-how.  Just imagine your windowsills adorned with potted veggies or whimsical flowers.  Besides the evasion and the soothing of your nerves, you’ll get the added bonus of titillating your senses.  Put a few romantic fragrant flowers on your menu such as…

Until late summer, North Fulton was part of the Lanier Tech service area. But local business executives and the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce lobbied the Technical College System of Georgia to put the area within …
