Missing Gwinnett Woman Found

Gwinnett County Police say Stacey Parker was found Tuesday.

A missing Gwinnett woman has been found and reunited with her family.  On Tuesday (November 27), at about 5:45 pm, Gwinnett County Police issued a release stating Stacey Parker had been found earlier. Parker is reported to be in good health and with family members.  Parker was last seen Friday afternoon at the Venture Cinemas in Duluth. A Mattie's Call was issued over the weekend. The 42 year old suffers from diabetes and a brian tumor that has symptoms similar to Alzheimer's. Patch is awaiting more details about Parker's disappearance and how she was found.

GCPD: Gwinnett Woman Still Considered Missing

Although there have been media reports that Stacey Parker had been found, Gwinnett County Police they are still treating her case as a missing person and she is still at risk.

Stacey Parker went missing Friday afternoon (November 23) when she was last seen at the Venture Cinemas in Duluth. On Sunday, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Parker was found safe. However, Cpl. Jake Smith of Gwinnett County Police says the woman is still missing and the Mattie's Call is still in effect. "As far as GCPD is concerned, Stacey Parker has not been located," said Smith in a release. "We still consider her a missing person and we still consider her at risk." Smith says detectives have received tips that Parker may have bee seen at a homeless shelter in Atlanta. That information has not been confirmed and GCPD detectives are investigating.  Parker is a black female, 5'5", between 130 and 140 pounds. She was last seen …

Update: Missing Young Buford Woman Found

Gwinnett Police return Christine Joyce Park to her parent's home in Buford.

Updated Wednesday, May 16 Gwinnett Police detectives found Christine Joyce Park Monday (May 14) and returned her home in good health. She left home willingly, and no one will face charges in the case, according to Gwinnett Police Cpl. Jake Smith. ~ Gwinnett County Police need the public’s help to find a missing young woman from Buford. A Mattie’s Call has been issued for Christine Joyce Park, according to Gwinnett Police Officer Jeffery Richter. Park's parents reported about 12:45 p.m. Friday (May 11) that she had left home without notifying them. Christine is 21 years old, but her parents told police that she has the mental capacity of an 8-to 10-year-old child, Richter said. Christine is an Asian female with shoulder-length hair, …
