Gwinnett Sheriff's Deputies' Sons to Face Off in BCS Championship Game

The sons of two of Gwinnett's finest, one of whom is from Lawrenceville, are on opposing teams in the Alabama-Notre Dame clash.

The Orange Bowl between Alabama and Notre Dame will be televised Monday, January 7, at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN. --- The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office has a unique stake in Monday's BCS Championship Game between top- ranked Notre Dame  and No. 2 Alabama. Two Gwinnett Sheriff’s Deputies have sons playing in this year’s title game -- on opposite teams.
