How did the location on Celebration Drive fare on its most recent health check?
The Taco Bell franchise on Celebration Drive (formerly Gwinco Boulevard) in Suwanee recently underwent a restaurant inspection from the East Metro Health District, which serves Gwinnett, Newton and Rockdale counties. And it scored a "96/A," in the check dated February 20. It scored a "100/A" on its previous check, in September 2012. Just a few months ago, Taco Bell faced a potential image-buster that could have taken business down the drain. A lawsuit claimed that the beef in Taco Bell's tacos was not, well, beef. The lawsuit claimed that the content of the "meat" was only 35 percent ground beef, the rest being filler. For Taco Bell, the No. 6 fast-food restaurant, this lawsuit hit hard as the company is just rebounding from an E. Coli breakout in 2006 and videos of rats in their facility in 2007. Taco Bell has changed? They are figuring out how to put less B33F in their product and more oats. The time is now to put some plant based items on the menu and stop cruelty to animals. I lived as a cow in an animal concentration camp just to be put into a Taco at TacoBell. I as a cow were diluted to 35% of the fill. Wake up and smell the cow patties.
