There is a dead heat, but both places seem appropriate. The Moondance Lounge and Wild Wing Cafe tied for most votes in the latest Best Of Patch Readers' Choice poll for Best Place to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Suwanee. Moondance, which opened in October, is chiefly a dine and dance restaurant that also features name entertainers for concerts, such as Randall Bramblett. Wild Wing Cafe qualifies as a sports/bar and casual dining outlet. So tell us what you like about both places in the comments.

The city has several options for celebrating New Year's Eve.
On Saturday night, people all over Suwanee will gather to celebrate the ending of 2011 and the start of 2012. For those who don't want to watch the Peach Drop at home on TV, or college football, here are some options for New Year's Eve parties in the Suwanee area. Moondance Lounge will have live entertainment starting at 8 pm. While there are no more reservations available for tables, there will be standing room at the bar and dance area. Wild Wing Cafe will have live entertainment, champagne toast, and party favors. There is no cover charge. Every day has a different feature, and the menu is varied.
If only we had known ... My favorite co-diner, my daughter, joined me for a night at Wild Wing Cafe in Suwanee. If only we had known that we were walking into Trivia Night! We were sat at a table and did not know it was trivia night, but as the trivia continued, I answered seven out of eight questions properly. If I had signed up, I could have won a gift card. If only we had known. For a Thursday night, Wild Wing Cafe had a good flow of customers. Many of them were enjoying the trivia, which takes place every Thursday. Not a trivia person? As Suwanee bids 2010 adieu, families are planning for, in some cases not planning, their New Year's Eve festivities. For some, staying at home to ring in the New Year is standard. Staying up until midnight can be a small victory. New Year's Day brings the celebration with family coming for dinner or performing New Year's Day traditions.
