The Notre Dame-Alabama game for the BCS Championship will be televised on ESPN on Monday, January 7, at 8:30 p.m. --- Someone HAD to lose Saturday's SEC Championship in Atlanta. After a memorable back-and-forth effort, Alabama prevailed over Georgia, 32-28. The Tide came from behind three times and held off a strong Bulldogs comeback in the final seconds, as reported by Pat Forde of Yahoo Sports. So the next stop for Alabama is the Jan. 7 BCS title game in Miami against Notre Dame, ranked No. 1 in the BCS and unbeaten. But for Georgia, the wait for a national title continues.
