Hammerheads Seafood Restaurant Is Open in Suwanee

The newest addition to the dining scene is in the old Antigua building on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.

No sign is left of the previous restaurant, Antigua, at the newly remodeled and renovated Hammerheads Seafood and Sports Grille in Suwanee. From a large bar in the center to flat-screen surrounding the restaurant, and the custom-made beer case, the restaurant (located at 415 Peachtree Indistrial Boulevard) has a fresh look that reflects its diverse menu and new atmosphere. -- Have you tried Hammerhead yet? The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the smell! And it wasn't a pleasant smell. The second thing I noticed was the lack of customers. There were, maybe, 4 other people in that...at lunch time. Those four people seemed to be regular at the bar. I got the shrimp basket...it was ok and my husband got the fried oysters...they were horrible. We also got the appetizer, crab stuffed mushrooms…   more ›

Soft Opening a Success at Twisted Taco

The franchise has opened its newest location in Suwanee.

A paper sign on the door makes it offical: Twisted Taco restaurant has finally opened its doors in Suwanee. Located right next to Taco Mac, the franchised Tex-Mex restaurant has been eagerly awaited. Upon first walking in, the restaurant is anything but your typical Mexican restaurant. Set in an Old Wild West type decor, wanted posters adorn the walls and a deer is mounted right above the hostess stand. The Tex-Mex franchise is set to open at the end of June.

Suwanee will be home to the newest Twisted Taco Tex-Mex restaurant, which is scheduled to open at the end of June on Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road. Nestled in between several Korean restaurants in the strip in front of H-Mart in Suwanee sits Umaido, a Japanese restaurant with a particular specialty, noodles. Umaido is not the typical Japanese sushi restaurant that many of us are accustomed to. Here, the menu is full of different choices of Ramen, like the current special, Tonkatsu Ramen.
