Let's get a recap: BROOKS ENDORSEMENTS: The former Suwanee City Council member already had a sizable fund-raising lead over opponent Laurie McClain in the Gwinnett BOC District 1 race. As early voting continued, Brooks also picked up the endorsements of several municipal leaders in the district. Let's take another look at some headline events: AIRPORT PRIVATIZATION IN TROUBLE: The controversial idea of turning county-owned Briscoe Field over to a private operator is gaining no favor with county administrators. The agenda for the June 5 Board of Commissioners work session carries a staff recommendation to reject the proposal by Propeller Investments, the only entity to submit a proposal. SpaceX docking: Thanks to our click-oriented universal village, people could watch Friday's historic space mission. The SpaceX capsule Dragon became the first privately-funded vehicle to rendezvous with the International Space Station. The company's mission control in Hawthorne, Calif., teamed with NASA on the effort. And the camera is still live, so you can watch the astronauts float around the vessel. Asian Pacific Event at Suwanee Library

The heritage event is scheduled for Sunday.

The Suwanee Branch of the Gwinnett Public Library will host an Asian Pacific Heritage event on Sunday, 2-4 p.m., according to the library system website.
