Suwanee Pizza Tavern Joins Restaurant Scene

The eatery on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard opened in November.

Now for another new Suwanee restaurant -- Suwanee Pizza Tavern. According to its Facebook page, the restaurant at 1500 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard near Suwanee Station opened November 9. It received its alcoholic beverage license from the city in August. Its Facebook description reads, "Woodfired Pizza, Garlic Knots drizzled in Garlic Butter, and Pastas that will make you want to clean your bowl. Our Pizza Pit showcases our Il Forno where you can watch our pizza chef create your pizza." The site also tells of its bar area and drink specials. There's already good customer feedback. More New Restaurants Planned for Suwanee

Pizza eatery and Gulf Coast Grill could soon be added to the dining scene.

The Suwanee restaurant scene, which has gotten several new additions in recent months, soon could see a couple of new outlets. Suwanee Pizza Tavern and Gulf Coast Grill have applied for alcoholic beverage licenses with city officials, and approval could come at the August City Council meeting. The pizza restaurant plans to open at 1500 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, and Gulf Coast Grill plans to open in the former American Ale House location at 3463 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road, according to city documents. City Hall staff members have recommended approval of alcholic beverage licenses for both establishments.
