My heart goes out to all of South Cobb and the Family of Rev Graves, President Cobb SCLC. I ask that you go to our Cobb SCLC face book page and greet the SCLC family. A great leader , a good man and a good friend has gone home.

Kiri, does Mableton have a recycle pick up? I know that we don't use that and it would be easy to set our recyclables out with our trash.

I just read the story on Luangphone. I wanted to tell you of my accomplishment, but didn't want to post it on the comments and sound like I was tooting my own horn. Yes, I am, but I feel more comfortable doing it in private. On July 23, 2011 I, along with 9 other students from GRMA, competed in the Gold Bar Challenge. In the Black Belt Women Division, I placed first in non weapon and weapon forms and got the Grand Champion Gold Ring for doing that. Information on my award and the places and events of myself and the other competitors can be seen on our website www.greenroommartialarts.weebly.com go to more and a drop box comes down, click on tournaments and there are all the pictures of winners with their awards.

Hi Kiri,
I just submitted another blog about playing at Rev Coffee last night on their Open Mic. I forgot to upload pictures Chuck took of me performing, can I do that once the blog has been posted?

I don't want to dampen the purchase of any homes in Austell, but they need to check to see if any of these homes were flooded. I know some of Jones Road were flooded. Please remind readers to do their homework before making a house purchase in this area.

We at Survivors Outreach Center are in the community fighting to help out those in need. Our dream of opening an adult resource center in Cobb county is a challenging one. Help is needed to open a place where young and older adults can go to learn various trades, get their GED, Life skills training (like dress for success), parenting skills training, time manangement training and much more. We are asking for any help in obtaining a building to do the work that is so desperatetly needed in our community. As we drive around Cobb county there are so many empty properties. All donations to our organization is tax deductible.

Well said, the quote below is prophetic and I believe it!!
"South Cobb is Atlanta's best kept secret, but I'm pretty sure South Cobb Patch is about to blow the lid off of it." Kiri Walton
