Two Killed in Traffic Collision in Suwanee
The incident happened late Wednesday on Satellite Boulevard.

Two people were killed late Wednesday (Aug. 28) in an unincorporated area of Suwanee when a tractor-trailer and a car collided on Satellite Boulevard.
The accident happened about 10:28 p.m. at Shawnee Industrial Way, near Old Peachtree Road, according to Gwinnett Police. Another person was reported to be in critical condition.
According to wsbtv.com, the truck, which was not pulling a trailer, hit the driver's side of a Chrysler PT Cruiser on Satellite Boulevard. The truck then jumped the curb, took out part of a guard rail and landed inside a wooded area.
Those killed and injured were passengers in the PT Cruiser. The truck driver was not hurt, according to reports. The truck had to be pulled from about 30 feet into a wooded embankment.
No charges are anticipated.
