Which Suwanee Restaurants Received A's and B's?

Suwanee Restaurant Inspections: How area eateries fared on health checks.

Kinyobee Japanese Restaurant and Fish 153 received health inspections recently from the Gwinnett Health Department. Here are the results.

  • KINYOBEE JAPANESE RESTAURANT: The eatery on 315 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard No. 100 in Suwanee received an "88/B" rating on Sept. 5. Among the violations noted: Oysters and mussels not contained in original container until consumption. Molluscan shellfish may not be removed from the container in which they are received except immediately before sale of preparation for service.  New Violation.

  • FISH 153: The restaurant at 2700 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road No. F3 received a "90/A" rating on Aug. 30. Among the violations noted: Employee used his bare hands to handle ginger while preparing sushi. Food was discarded; employee washed his hands & put on disposable gloves. Except when washing fruits and vegetables, food employees shall not contact exposed, ready-to-eat food with their bare hands and shall use suitable utensils such as deli tissue, spatulas, tongs, single-use gloves, or dispensing equipment.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.
