Multi-Use Path Ready for Use in Suwanee
Work began in mid-year on the city-county project.
Pedestrians and cyclists, take note.
The multi-use path along Suwanee Dam Road from Peachtree Industrial Boulevard to the Town Center area is complete. Work was approved by the Gwinnett Board of Commissioners in May.
The project also includes a new sidewalk along Main Street to the pedestrian tunnel under the railroad tracks. (See the attached photos.)
Suwanee paid about $30,500 of the cost (estimated at $440,000) to upgrade the material from asphalt to concrete.
