Friends Grill Open for Business in Suwanee

The restaurant is touting many features in a location near Town Center.

Friends Suwanee Grill is now open in a location near Town Center in Suwanee. The same suite has seen some restaurant failures in recent years, but Friends already is rolling out many features with an eye for success.

Owner Ray Stanjevich also operates Friends locations in Dacula and Dawsonville, and so has an idea of what makes restaurants work. Like the others, the Suwanee location is in the casual dining category, but it's aimed at being a neighborhood gathering place, rather than a true sports bar.

Already, Friends has been touting such regular activities as team trivia (Thursday) and kids eat free nights (Monday). Ladies are in the mix, too, with "ladies night martinis" specially priced on Friday.

Other meal specials include all you can eat wings/shrimp (Wednesday).

Like some other dining locations around Suwanee, Friends is getting into live music. An acoustic performer sets up in the bar area on Friday and Saturday.

Friends is reachable on foot from Town Center; there is sidewalk connectivity to Town Center Avenue.

It's part of an upward trend in Suwanee dining. Uptown Grille is expected to open soon in the former Olde Towne space.
