National Donut Day: Free Ones at Dunkin' Donuts

The chain with a Suwanee outlet has a special offer.

OK, Suwanee, you have another way to salve your sweet tooth Friday. It's National Donut Day on June 1.

And to celebrate, is having an in-store and an online promotion. According to the company website, participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants nationwide will offer guests a free doughnut of their choice (while supplies last) with the purchase of any beverage.  

The company also is having a special National Donut Day promotion on Twitter, from 9 a.m. to 2:59 p.m. Friday.

In summary, the Twitter contest functions this way: People must follow @DunkinDonuts on Twitter and tweet a message to @DunkinDonuts, which includes the hashtag “#DunkinNDD” as well as your answer to the donut question of the hour. Your answer to the donut question of the hour has to be correct in order for you to earn the entry for a chance to win. The Question of the Hour will be different for each Entry Period, and can be found by following @DunkinDonuts Twitter account during the period, where the Question(s) of the Hour will be tweeted.

Also, Krispy Kreme, which has stores in Duluth and near the Mall of Georgia, is having a special promotion.
