Suwanee Data Storage Center May Get More Business

QTS on Satellite Boulevard reportedly has landed Salesforce.com as a client.

A large data storage company in Suwanee reportedly is about to add a high profile client.

Salesforce.com is about to place data operations at the Quality Technology Services location on Satellite Boulevard, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

Salesforce.com, which specializes in enterprise software, is seeking geographic diversification and proximity to East Coast clients, according to the report. QTS and Salesforce officials did not comment.

According to the QTS website, the 370,000 square foot facility on Satellite Boulevard is home to some of the company's largest customers. The location provides infrastructure for core data services, such as custom data center, colocation and cloud services.

The Salesforce.com website says: "Our social and mobile cloud technologies ... help companies connect with customers, partners and employees in entirely new ways."

It adds to Suwanee's prominence as a data storage hub. HP also has a large data storage and cloud computing facility on Satellite Boulevard.
