5. Today in History: On this date in 1964, "Beatlemania" arrived in America when John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr stepped off their flight from Britain. At the airport in New York, the "Fab Four" were greeted by 3,000 screaming fans who caused a near-riot when the musicians stepped off their plane and onto American soil.
