Police Warn of 'Suspicious' Males; McCann Returns to Gwinnett

POLICE ISSUE WARNING: Gwinnett Police asked residents to be on the lookout for a "suspicious" white van. There were reports that men in the van were attempting to lure neighborhood children; an instance was reported near North Gwinnett High in unincorporated Suwanee.

MCCANN REHABS IN GWINNETT: The Atlanta Braves' All-Star catcher and Duluth High grad was spending the weekend at Coolray Field to hone his surgically repaired shoulder.

SUWANEE EVENTS: Weather was not cooperative as such events as Food Truck Fridays and the Suwanee Farmers Market moved into Town Center Park.

SCHLOTZSKY'S OPENS: The fast-casual restaurant chain rolled out a new eatery near I-85 in the Suwanee Gateway.

BRISCOE FIELD AGAIN: The county-owned airport was described as an integral part of the Gwinnett County economy and intertwined with Atlanta's busy airport. The Board of Commissioners is seeking to join an existing legal matter in an effort to keep the control tower from being closed by federal budget cuts.
