North Gwinnett Co-Op Debuts New Facility on Oct. 2

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is Tuesday in Buford.

The North Gwinnett Co-Operative Ministries, which helps needy families in the Suwanee area, will have opening ceremonies Tuesday (Oct. 2) for its new facility in Buford.

The ceremony will be 5-8 p.m. at 4395 Commerce Drive in Buford.

-- How is your church or organization helping others this holiday season? Post in our Announcements section.

Also, the ministry is issuing a special plea for holiday food items, such as boxed potato, stuffing, canned yams, marshmallows, cranberry sauce, canned vegetables, corn muffin mix, chicken broth, soups, dessert mixes, gelatin, and anything else that might be appropriate for a holiday meal. Donations mean that the ministry's money can be used to help families pay utility bills and get much-needed medication.

Also, the co-op's thrift store, Second Blessings, needs "gently used" clothing and household items.
