Falcons RB Turner Arrested for DUI in Gwinnett
The star player was booked into the Gwinnett Detention Center at 5 a.m. Tuesday, and later released on bond.
Atlanta Falcons starting running back Michael Turner, a Suwanee resident, was arrested early Tuesday (Sept. 18) on charges of DUI and speeding in Gwinnett, records show.
According to the Gwinnett Sheriff's Office, Turner, of a Chattooga Terrace address in Suwanee, was booked into the Gwinnett Detention Center shortly after 5 a.m. Tuesday. He was released on bond ($2,006 for DUI, $173 for speeding) shortly after 7 a.m.
Turner rushed 17 times for 42 yards and one touchdown in the Falcons' 27-21 victory over Denver on Monday night at the Georgia Dome.

Gwinnett County Police spokesperson Ed Ritter said his agency made the arrest, but no further details currently are available.
