A natural-gas leak at a construction site is under control, so Old Peachtree Road in Suwanee has been reopened, Gwinnett emergency officials said Wednesday.

Emergency crews shut down the road near Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road about 4 pm Wednesday after a construction crew hit a 2-inch line, causing the leak. A crew from Atlanta Gas Light also was on the scene, and stopped the leak. No injuries were reported, and no evacuations were necessary.
