Beaudreau Requests Recount in Gwinnett BOC Election
The District 3 incumbent trails Hunter in runoff totals by 56 votes.
The Gwinnett BOC District 3 election drama is not over.
Mike Beaudreau, the incumbent District 3 commissioner, has requested a recount after a close runoff with Tommy Hunter earlier in August. Gwinnett County spokesperson Joe Sorenson has confirmed this to Patch.

Beaudreau currently is in last Tuesday's runoff election by just 56 votes.
The Gwinnett GOP says the recount will begin Tuesday, August 28, at 4pm at Elections Headquarters in Lawrenceville. Sorenson expects the recount to be complete by the early evening.
