Gwinnett was alive with tributes to and activities in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday (January 21), the national holiday.

In Lawrenceville, the United Ebony Society put on its 13th annual parade. Dancers from Meadowcreek High were among the parade participants.

In Snellville, both Shiloh High and South Gwinnett High were involved in the 2013 King parade.
