Sarah Palin Won't Run: Are You Surprised?
Sound off on the former vice presidential hopeful's decision.
Sarah Palin, a controversial candidate for vice president in 2008, announced Wednesday that she will not run for president in 2012.
The former Alaska governor said she can be more effective helping other Republicans win office "from the nation's governors to congressional seats and the presidency," according to USA Today.
