Suwanee event organizers and the turf at have to be wheezing a bit lately, but as the saying goes, no rest for the weary.
Time for the monthly Toast @ Town Center event, set for Thursday, 6-10 p.m. at Town Center Park.
This month's theme is "Cruise-In." About a dozen stylish cars are anticipated, while Craver will perform classic rock favorites from the '50s through today outside Olde Towne Tavern & Grille, according to the city's website.

As usual, Town Center Avenue will be closed to traffic to create a block-party atmosphere. Patrons will be able to purchase drinks at Town Center eateries and take them from shop to shop and within the park.
September has been a very busy month for the Town Center area. On Sept. 10, the city held a memorable ceremony to commemorate 9/11 and its own artifact from the terrorist attacks. Also, the annual Suwanee Day festival on Sept. 17 brought the usual horde of vendors and patrons to the area.
