Suwanee Cheerleading Squads in State Event
Collins Hill, North Gwinnett and Peachtree Ridge outfits will be in state event this weekend in Columbus.
Cheerleaders are an integral part of high school sports, and some squads from Suwanee will be showing their best at sectional competition this weekend.
, and cheerleaders will be in competition in Columbus on Saturday. The 2011-2012 GHSA State Cheerleading Championships will be held November 11-12 at the Columbus Civic Center, according to the GHSA website.
The state championship finals at 9:00 am (A, AA & AAA) and 2:00 pm (COED, AAAA & AAAAA) will be carried live online at GPB.org/sports. A "Cheerleading Special" will air on GPB TV on Nov. 18 at 7:00 pm and 10:30 pm and again on Nov. 23 at 7:00 pm.
